The Emerging Leaders Spotlight section offers you a platform to showcase and celebrate your noteworthy achievements and impactful contributions within your community. As a Training Director or fellow trainee, you can nominate someone as well! Whether it's through leadership initiatives, community service projects, or other meaningful endeavors, this spotlight allows you to provide a comprehensive and inspiring overview of the dedication and impact Emerging Leaders make within the AUCD Network.

Webinar Description
This workshop helped prepare trainees for the 2024 Disability Policy Seminar that took place earlier in April, in Washington, DC, to learn how to educate policymakers in DC and at home, as well as how to connect their experience and expertise to policy. |

AUCD's Policy Team and Invited Guest Speakers Reviewed: |
- the basics of how the federal government works.
- receive tips for meeting with and educating policymakers; and
- how to frame policy priorities for effective impact.

The End of Year Webinar is hosted each Spring and celebrate those completing their trainee year. As your traineeship comes to an end, you will find many AUCD resources to help you take advantage of your experiences and training, and help you continue to grow as a leader. Even though the training has ended, you are always a part of the AUCD Network.
