Celebrate Community Health Improvement Week

From June 10 to 14, NCRN celebrates Community Health Improvement Week! Since the 1960s, Community Health Centers have studied how a community's work, life, worship, and play affect overall health. In 2022, the National Association of Community Health Centers reported that over 1,400 Community Health Centers served over 31.5 million patients.

Many of America's underserved communities receive health care from these health centers. In 2022, 63% of health center patients were people of color, according to the Kaiser Family Foundation. They also reported that over 90% of patients had income at or below 200% of the poverty level.

To help communities stay healthy, we want to highlight the following educational resources:

We are only as strong as the communities we serve! Together, we can all build a world where everyone has fair and equal access to quality health care.

Vaccine Resources

There is also an umbrella, volleyball, and bucket of other beach fun illustrated sitting on the sand near the water. The text over the graphic reads: Protect yourself this summer.
