AUCD Leadership Academy Pre-Application Informational Webinar |
Leadership Academy is a week-long intensive experience, paired with a year of pre and post interactions designed to enhance the skills of current and emerging leaders from disability networks to build coalitions to improve systems of supports and services. Trainees are eligible to apply! |

Join us on Wednesday, January 15 from 4:00 PM – 5:00 PM to hear from Georgia State University faculty about AUCD Leadership Academy! The webinar will feature a brief overview of the 2025 Academy curriculum and timeline followed by a time for questions from potential applicants to the 2025 AUCD Leadership Academy. In addition, alumni will share their reflections about the benefits they gained from participation in the week-long academy and the follow-up activities. |

Join AUCD SIGs, Councils, and Newsletters |

As an Emerging Leader, you are able to join many groups at AUCD. Check out the following ways to be involved at AUCD in 2025:

Special Interest Groups (SIGs): made up of individuals that have common topical interest such as emergency preparedness, family support, assistive technology, and so on. SIGs, which are open to anyone in the AUCD Network as well as external partners and stakeholders, serve as a mechanism for sharing information, engaging in respectful dialogue, and generating new ideas.

AUCD Councils: provide an opportunity for AUCD Network members to address emerging trends and issues, highlight exemplary practices, implement the AUCD Strategic Map, and bring Network priorities to the AUCD Board of Directors.

Newsletters: From policy updates to stories of AUCD Emerging Leaders, AUCD offers a variety of newsletters. AUCD Network members, advocates, and members of the disability community are invited to subscribe to AUCD 360, Disability Policy News, and more. Never miss our updates! On a regular basis, AUCD hosts webinars on a range of disability topics from interdisciplinary professionals from around the world. AUCD Emerging Leaders can benefit from viewing live and archived webinars that are directly related to their specific fields of study/expertise but can also be exposed to the perspectives of other fields on topics of shared relevance.
